New events spaces at Twickenham’s World Rugby Museum

Twickenham Experience has launched new events spaces within its on-site World Rugby Museum.

The newly-renovated museum spaces will include the Museum galleries, an AV theatre and an exhibition area. These spaces offer a combined capacity of 150 people and are ideal for drinks receptions.

The museum was originally named the Museum of Rugby and was re-launched in 2007 as the World Rugby Museum. Located within the stadium’s East Stand, the site showcases over 25,000 artefacts and hosts a regular programme of special exhibitions.

“We are excited to unveil these new event spaces which add a further unique element to our venue,” says Head of Sales and Marketing at Twickenham Experience, Amir Vered. “While we gear up for the 2013/14 rugby season, this new offering will give our delegates a chance to really get involved with Twickenham’s rugby heritage and gain an enriching and educational experience in the midst of some of the most fascinating artefacts in the history of the sport.”
