Global Experience Specialists achieves Investor in People status

Major contractor for the conference and events sector, Global Experience Specialists (GES), has been awarded Investor in People status, following an assessment procedure carried out by EMB-Excellence.

Investors in People is a business improvement tool administered by the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, and core accreditation requires candidate companies to meet at least 39 evidence requirements. GES was able to exceed this threshold by meeting 45 evidence requirements, and was formally accredited on 13 September 2013.

The evaluation report commended GES because its “well defined and well communicated vision provides focus, creates a sense of purpose and provides a measurement for success”.

GES International HR Manager, Katrina Rowbury, said: “Being accredited as an Investor in People recognises the incredible effort put in by everyone to create a positive, collaborative and supportive working environment. Our policy of continuous improvement was taken to heart by everyone, and the results have been amazing.”
