Events agency Chillisauce continues partnership with London Met

London events agency Chillisauce has renewed its partnership with London Metropolitan University for another year, with a view to offering events management students an opportunity to gain corporate events experience in preparation for their future careers.

Chillisauce says that despite negative criticism at the launch, the module in Event Experience Management has proven to be a great success for students. Lectures and workshops are taught by Directors, Heads of Departments, Corporate Event Managers and the Marketing Team.

Students are required to complete an ’Apprentice-style’ project and are given the chance to pitch to a panel of top industry professionals.

“One of the judges, the Director of a Chillisauce blue chip client, told us that some of the students’ pitches were better than most professional pitches they had seen,” said Head of Digital Marketing and PR at, Micheal Chidzey. “Businesses shouldn’t be put off by enhancing education; they should be encouraged to share their knowledge and expertise to students in order to maximise their employability upon graduation.”
