CWT M&E hires new blood for UK sales and marketing team

Event and meetings management agency, CWT Meetings & Events, has made a series appointments across its UK sales and marketing team.

Chris Goundrill, joining from Capita Travel & Events with 11 years’ experience of managing clients such as BP, Morgan Stanley and CapGemini, will work on automotive and financial clients as an Account Manager.

Simon Hubbard joins the team after six years at pro-ven, and with 15 years’ industry experience with clients including Kodak, Coca-Cola and Sainsbury’s. He will manage FMCG, legal and professional services clients.

Nicola Sykes, from Banks Sadler, has also been appointed in the new role of Marketing Manager.

London & Partners’ former Head of Communications, Chloe Couchman, has also recently joined the agency as its Global Media Relations Director. Couchman develop the CWT brand and communications campaigns across a variety of creative media platforms.

Couchman has specialised within the major events and business travel industry for 12 years and comes to CWT with previous experience of running global communications campaigns for blue-chip brands such as Ford, Guinness, NFL, Red Bull and Samsung. Previous to London & Partners, she headed the communications team for global events and experience company Imagination for eight years.
