The Sandman Signature Hotel in Newcastle has set up a partnership with Sodexo Prestige, which runs the catering and events at St James’ Park football stadium, to offer a 24-hour conference package for anyone holding a conference, meeting or event at Newcastle United FC.
NUFC has some of the region’s largest conference and banqueting facilities but organisers have had to sort out their own accommodation for overnight events – until now.
The new deal with the Sandman Signature Hotel, which is across the road from the football ground, means that organisers can hold their events at NUFC and benefit from a special rate for their accommodation.
“This is a mutually beneficial relationship and will also make life much easier for anyone organising conferences and events who want to use the facilities at St James’ Park but also need accommodation,” said Paul Smith, GM of the Sandman Signature Hotel.
Sam Doyle, Sales and Marketing Manager for Sodexo Prestige for NUFC, said: “NUFC has some of the best and largest conference facilities in the region.”
To launch the package, the 170-bedroom Sandman Signature Hotel will give the main booker of an event a complimentary upgrade on their room at any time of the year.
Any bookings made in August will see all delegates given an automatic upgrade to a suite, subject to availability.
