Manchester City FC’s Etihad Stadium has unveiled new hospitality areas in the Etihad Stadium, including a radical overhaul of its Citizens suite in time for the kick-off of the 2013-14 season.
The club has introduced four new hospitality rooms for private hire at the rear of the space. The ‘Back Four’ combines the Citizens’ relaxed environment with the comfort of a private box.
A new restaurant and bar will seat up to 328 people, with food and service overseen by the Club’s new catering partner, Fabulous Fan Fayre – a collaboration between Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts and Legends Hospitality.
Justice Ellis, Marketing Manager at MCFC, said the overhaul of Citizens follows the recent launches of a number of new hospitality areas, including the EA SPORTS Hospitality Box, the Harvey Nichols Experience Box and The Mancunian. The areas are also available for non-matchday bookings.
Meanwhile, Manchester City’s VIP pre-season party takes place at Manchester Central on 8 August.
The party will feature music and awards to kick off the 2013/14 season. New club signings and new manager Manuel Pellegrini will welcome 2,000 fans, who will be entertained by Blues fan and comedian Jason Manford.
The City Live event will be staged across various spaces in Manchester Central, including its Central Hall. Smaller rooms will be used as VIP spaces, while foyer areas will also be used.
Angie Robinson, Chief Executive of Manchester Central, said: “City Live truly will be an incredible evening”. Manchester Central was also chosen by Manchester United to host VIPs before its Champions League game against Real Madrid last season and Manchester ComicCon ported record numbers at the venue last month.
