Last weekend’s Bristol International Fiesta saw fans turn out in their hundreds to see 259 hot air balloon flights take to the skies, with new balloon shapes including Stuart, the Despicable Me 2 Minion; FT Tablet and the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Catering and event services specialist McBaile Exclusive won the headline sponsorship for the Night Glow at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, where tethered balloons light up the skies in time to music, on 8 August through its 100 Club membership.
This initiative gives 100 local businesses the opportunity to experience exclusive VIP hospitality for entertaining key clients, as well as networking opportunities. McBaile combined this with the chance to provide its high end hospitality services to wow the other members with full dining hospitality. The menu included amuse bouche shots featuring braised cod cheek with crispy bacon and green pea gazpacho, chicory tongue and goats cheese mousse followed by a selection of bowl foods such as puy lentil and chesterton farm sausage casserole.
Rod McCormick, Operations Director at McBaile Exclusive, said: “This was a great opportunity to engage with two target audiences, the business leaders of Bristol and the local community. The first day of the event was fantastic and we are delighted to be such a big part of this flagship event in the South West’s calendar.”
Ben Hardy, Bristol International Fiesta Organiser, adds: “The 100 club is a great initiative that gives local and SME businesses the chance to win an event sponsorship that otherwise would be a large part of their annual budgets. For a company such as McBaile Exclusive, this can make a real different to their business.”
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta was organised by Richmond Event Management.
