Emirates Old Trafford rebrands with digital partner Skylab

Emirates Old Trafford, home of Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC), is to be rebranded with the help of Manchester-based digital partner, Skylab.

In February 2013, CN reported the LCCC’s stadium would be renamed Emirates Old Trafford in a 10-year deal. The new agreement also includes stadium branding and contains a number of marketing rights.

Following a competitive pitch, Skylab will initially focus on the creation of a new website for the venue side of the business, helping to celebrate the naming rights deal.

When completed, the new website will showcase the venue’s ability to generate revenue from non-matchday sales and deliver events for conferences, dinners, exhibitions, weddings, Christmas parties, private parties, meetings and training.

“The launch of the website will be an important tool that will enable us to highlight the varied conference and events offerings we have in The Point, the Pavilion and the Players and Media Centre,” says LCCC’s Venue Sales Manager, Angela Hodson.

The complete website will be launched later this year. In the meantime, a holding page is available to view at emiratesoldtrafford.co.uk
