Two directors from the visual communications company RMG Networks, Company MD Dan Horgan and Finance Director Julie Richings, attended a celebratory reception at Buckingham Palace with HM The Queen on 23 July to mark the company’s success in winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade 2013.
RMG Networks was named a Queen’s Award winner in April on the basis of three consecutive years of “outstanding export growth”. During this period, RMG Networks more than doubled its international sales, and increased its overall sales by 40 per cent.
Previously known as Symon Dacon, the business operated predominantly within the contact centre market and, over the years, has expanded significantly into markets and verticals, including retail, hospitality, healthcare and corporate internal communications for employee engagement.
To support international business growth, RMG has offices in the US, South America, Dubai, Singapore, India and China, as well as the UK.
“Achieving this award has been a great boost to everyone in the company – we all own this success,” says Horgan. “We are proud of our talented and hardworking employees – many of whom have been longstanding and have grown with the organisation – and we thank our customers and partners for their continued support.”
