Northamptonshire-based Hellidon Lakes
Golf and Spa Hotel has made four key appointments in its management
including Christophe Gitton as General Manager.
The new team includes Gitton,
Operations Manager Tom Reeve, Head Chef Luciano Catalinotto and Director of
Sales, Alyson Bentley.
Gitton has over 25 years of
experience in the hospitality industry with seven of those being with QHotels
where he previously ran QHotels’ Tankersley Manor hotel in Yorkshire.
Catalinotto started his career at
the age of 15 at his parents’ restaurant and Rocco’s Michelin starred fish
restaurant. In his new role, he is looking forward to training and developing
the team. “I have many ideas for the food offering and with the wealth of local
suppliers on our doorstep I am looking forward to coming up with a menu that
really makes the most of this and champions the local area as a Mecca for fresh
ingredients,” he says.
Proud to be awarded Silver in the
Green Tourism Business Scheme, Hellidon Lakes Golf and Spa Hotel is set on 220
acres, 15 miles from the Silverstone race circuit.
In addition, the 24 conference and
meeting rooms offer space to cater for up to 300 delegates.
