Eventbrite partners with FireText to boost communication for events

International event ticketing company, Evenbrite, has partnered with UK-based mobile messaging company, FireText, to enable event organisers to boost communication pre- and post-event.

By sending timely text messages prior to an event using the FireText platform, Eventbrite claims organisers will be able to increase attendance and enhance guest experience.

FireText is the only UK SMS platform to join forces with Eventbrite. The company provides a cloud-based SMS platform, which users can log into on any device to send and manage their messages.

“A simple text message can have a big impact to your event attendance and overall experience,” says Dan Parker, FireText Co-founder. “More and more businesses are realising the importance of effective communication and events are a great example for us.”

Parker claims text messages have an open rate of 98 per cent and are the perfect way to update guests on special announcements, confirm details or engage in conversation helping to boost attendance in the run-up to an event.
