DoubleTree by Hilton, part of the wider Hilton Worldwide hotel group, has added the DoubleTree by Hilton London – Hyde Park to its portfolio, following a £10m refurbishment and conversion to the DoubleTree branding.
The DoubleTree upgrade at Hyde Park takes the total number of Hilton Worldwide properties in the capital to nine, with the new property offering a 24-hour fitness centre, as well as 12 new first floor guest rooms, taking the total number to 228.
In September 2013, the hotel will also launch a restaurant with an emphasis on ‘farm to fork’ dishes using only the finest, seasonal ingredients.
“We’re excited to be opening our doors to the public, offering upscale accommodation in such an iconic London location,” Max Ball, GM at DoubleTree by Hilton London – Hyde Park, said. “The hotel’s £10m refurbishment has transformed the look and feel of the hotel.”
