Your Workspaces set to expand with external investment

Pay-as-you-go office, meeting room and business lounge company, Your Workspaces, is to expand its network of offices after it received “substantial external investment”.

The company, which was formed in February 2011, is using the funds it received at the end of last year, to support the business’s expansion and to meet demand from large corporate organisations that are looking to offer employees a more flexible way of working, whilst making savings on office costs.

Your Workspaces already has 650 locations in 26 countries and was founded by Matthew Stubbs and a team of three other former Regus executives. It allows companies to search, book and pay online for meeting rooms, offices and business lounges.

To fuel the global expansion, Stubbs raised funding from private investors, allowing the business to invest in people, IT infrastructure and marketing, including the global roll-out of multi-currency and multi-language, mobile-enabled websites and apps.

As part of the growth plan, the company’s senior management team has been strengthened by the appointment of Brett Million, a former Regus COO, and non-executive directors Bernard Myers, the former MD of N. M. Rothschild and Pankaj Shah, Head of Tax at Investec Plc.

The company claims to be the largest mobile workspace network in the UK and is expanding in the States with a growing presence across Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and Asia, including India, Singapore, Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and Indonesia.

Your Workspaces has developed a white label branded solution which enables businesses to have their own bespoke website and apps. It allows corporate clients to add their own underused workspaces to the system so their employees can search for available office and meeting spaces within their own property portfolio first, before trawling the wider, external Your Workspaces network.
