Tech Fest launches animated video programme

London-based event company, Gallus Events’ Tech Fest, an event which aims to engage event organisers with new technologies, is to launch an animated video programme.
The video expands the Tech Fest theme of using technology to create unique experiences for attendees and creating events that stand out from the crowd.
The event will take place on 18 and 19 July at Dexter House in London, with the first day focusing on ‘How technology can help attract attendees and create the space to allow organisers to be creative.’
Speakers include Jon Schäfer, CCO and Co-founder of Conferize; Julius Solaris, Editor of Event Manager Blog; Stefania Conti-Vecchi of The Eventagist; George Sirius, CEO of Eventsforce; and Kursha Woodgate, MD of Mexia Communications.
In addition to presentations, delegates will have the opportunity to take part in hands-on demonstrations with event technology, participate in round table sessions and arrange one-to-one meetings with the event technology suppliers supporting the event. The day will close with a practical case study session, facilitated by Tech Fest founder William Thomson, seeking to turn delegates into event technology consultants and gurus by asking them to solve a ‘real life’ case study, bringing together what has been learnt throughout the day.
“Generally speaking, the format of events has remained unchanged for many years,” says Thomson.

“With Tech Fest as a whole and, as highlighted by the launch of the animated programme, we are attempting to highlight how technology can be used to create a truly worthwhile and unforgettable experience for attendees while also solving many problems faced by event organisers.”
A traditional version of the programme is also available and Tech Fest is encouraging people to comment via social media as to which they prefer.
The second day will focus on how technology can be used during events to keep attendees engaged and assist with networking and learning. The full programme for day two will be announced shortly.
