Event management company, the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC) has ended the 2012/13 year with a 20 per cent increase in turnover compared to the previous year.
The company puts its current turnover at £3m, despite a challenging year.
The results come as TLC expands its online presence through its main website and mobile version, specifically designed for iPad, iPhone, BlackBerry and other mobile devices.
TLC has also made its first social media appearance with its own LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest pages, and has plans to launch a blog later in the month.
“We worked hard last year to develop our private events business in compensation for the tough situation with the corporate market,” said Liz Taylor, TLC’s MD. “TLC has continued to thrive through a number of difficult economic situations over the last 20 years by being able to adapt our events to suit the changing priorities and budgets of our clients.”
Taylor added that recent financial results meant the company had been able to make substantial payments to reduce the business debt related to new Manchester premises, as well as to move forward with marketing activities.
“With much improved corporate business and strong private events on the books for 2013/14, TLC is looking to have another positive year ahead and we aim to strengthen our position as a leading event company in the UK,” she said.
