P&MM first agency to run event at newly-opened Mary Rose Museum

As part of its second Clipper Challenge, P&MM Events & Communications was the first agency to hold an event at the newly-opened Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth.

The industry leader in live communication events brought together prominent corporate event and marketing professionals from UK and international businesses with major names from the hospitality industry, for a business networking session at the new venue, a £27m purpose-built museum for King Henry VIII’s flagship, the Mary Rose.

Nigel Cooper, Divisional Managing Director at Motivcom, shared findings from the2013 METRIC survey undertaken by P&MM on trends in the industry, particularly highlighting the effect of short lead times in event planning.

The meeting was part of its Clipper Challenge, a fiercely competitive day of training and racing in the Solent aboard round the world yachts which culminated in the crew from the yacht sponsored by Kerzner and Leading Hotels of the World taking first place.
