New creative director for P&MM

International events and communications agency P&MM has appointed Dave Jones as creative director for its wider events and communications division following the company’s continued growth in experiential, conference and communications-led business.

Jones has more than 30 years experience of working with some of the world’s largest companies involving more than 100 brands.

Having previously worked in agencies including TBWA/GGT, Maritz and the JJ Group in numerous senior roles, Jones has handled events and communications across sectors including publishing, retail, finance, telecoms, utilities, automotive, airlines and charities. He worked on the original Milton Keynes Development Corporation and the first ever Church of England TV commercial, among other projects.

“I like nothing better than a blank piece of paper and challenge, and like to explore the art of communication in as many different ways as possible. So when the opportunity to help put together fantastic films and live experiences for P&MM’s great client list was offered, it was too good an opportunity to turn down.”

Chris Clarke, P&MM’s Director of Group Event Services, said: “We have secured a growing number of experiential and communications led events in recent years, meaning that we have gradually added ever more creative people to complement the delivery skills already in place. This ensures that we continue to compete and win business at an increasingly higher level than when events really meant logistics. It has become so much about the big idea, how to communicate it and execute it at the top level.”
