Moving Venue staff cater for Paris Air Show

Sixty-two staff from South London event caterer, Moving Venue are working at the Paris Air show at Le Bourget airport (17-23 June).
Headed by Moving Venue’s director, Matthew Quarendon, the team is catering and managing the front of office operations of hospitality suites and exhibition pavilions for some of the world’s major aerospace companies, including civil and military helicopter suppliers.
The 50th Paris Air Show brings together the aeronautical industry’s key players to showcase the latest technological innovations in civil and military aircraft.
Over 2,113 exhibitors from 144 countries and 151,000 trade visitors are attending.
“We have seen a marked increase in the number of companies who are employing our services, many of which have been short-lead confirmations,” said MD of Moving Venue, Richard Beggs.
“The feedback that we are getting is that clients want to work with a caterer that understands the needs of this sector and in particular the logistics of working in a greenfield site overseas,” he said.

Moving Venue has also been confirmed to manage hospitality programmes at Farnborough Airshow in the UK, 14-20 July 2014.
