ISESTALKS Creativity

Last week (18 June) saw ISES UK host the latest edition of its education networking event ISESTALKS at the former Trinity Church, One Marylebone in central London.

More than 100 guests, including ISES members and event industry peers came together for a night of creativity, with guest speaker and Vice President of Sales and Marketing at George P Johnson, Kevin Jackson, leading entertainers, event organisers and catering from newly-created One Dining rounding off the evening at the historic venue.

Robin Parker from Church House Conference Centre won tickets to August’s ISES Live in the Bahamas, the new international event for the creative professional, following a special prize draw.

Sponsored by Tourism Ireland, the evening had a tinge of green to it, with lighting from Mushroom Lighting. Xcel Events erected its virtual golf simulator as guests practiced their drives on some of Irelands best known courses. Special gin and whisky inhaling took place courtesy of Drinking Classes and Whisky Mavericks.

Traditional Irish music from Celtic Crunch contrasted with duelling pianists Party Pianos following later in the evening. Guests were also treated to food from the newly formed One Dining, part of One Events portfolio including canapés of glazed Welsh rarebit and young spinach on toasted English muffin;Cornish fish pies, smoked haddock, parsley and Yorkshire fettle; and sweet of Valhrona chocolate & salt caramel pot, cinder toffee & hazelnuts.

Adding to the entertainment throughout, digital specialists Luma presented their yr wall and Guest Stars photo booths captured the fun had by guests dressing in Irish themed fancy dress. Well Dressed Tables and Spaceworks supplied catering equipment and furniture along with Off to Work who provided staff.
