HKTB appoints new MICE executive in London

Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has appointed Lindsey Thorpe as its new Senior MICE Executive for UK and Europe. She will be based at the London office.

For the last two years, Thorpe has been an integral part of the London MEHK team in encouraging MICE organisers to host their meetings, incentives, conferences and events in Hong Kong. Her promotion follows the successful placing of events in Hong Kong such as the Future Travel Experience and Airline Retail Conference and organising trade shows for partners such as EIBTM.

Prior to joining the Tourism Board, Thorpe worked for DNC at Wembley Stadium as an Events Coordinator.

“Lindsey’s knowledge of group travel, conferences and incentive programmes is extensive and she has built-up great relationships with MICE organisers. Lindsey will continue to be instrumental in driving new business from the UK and Europe,” said Dawn Page, Director, UK and Northern Europe for Hong Kong Tourism Board.
