Fare of London to celebrate UK’s first National Waiters Day

The Fare of London team celebrated the first National Waiters Day (Sunday 23 June) by entering the Brunswick Square waiter challenge along with participating in a range of hospitality activities. Fare of London Waiter Csaba Szabó, supported by hospitality staff from the Fare of London team flew the flag for the contract and event catering firm by taking part in the National Waiters Race for which many Front of House hospitality staff will flock to London’s Brunswick Square.

The ‘fun run’ style race involves participants completing in a one kilometre route of two laps of Brunswick Square while balancing a bottle of Badoit mineral water on a tray.

National Waiters Day, the brainchild of GM at Galvin at Windows Fred Sirieix, has been designed to celebrate and recognise all front of house staff. The aim of the day is to educate people about careers in the hospitality industry and to change the perception of front of house service as an unskilled job.
