Climate change minister to speak at i2i Energy Event

The Rt. Hon. Ed Davey MP, Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change (pictured), is to be the headline speaker at The Energy Event, organised by i2i Events.
The Energy Event is a major conference and exhibition dedicated to energy management, efficiency and procurement and takes place at the NEC, 10-11 September 2013
Davey, the Liberal Democrat MP for Kingston and Surbiton, is responsible for the Department of Energy and Climate Change and is expected to address some of the 6,000 expected visitors on the topics of Energy Market Reform, increased energy demand and energy generation strategies for the UK.
Other key speakers sharing the platform with Davey include: media commentator Rosie Boycott, Professor of Energy Policy at Oxford’s New College Dieter Helm; Economics Editor at Newsnight, Paul Mason and Professor of Science and Society at Imperial College and TV presenter Lord Robert Winston.
The Energy Event also offers 70 free CPD certified seminars across four theatres.

Four events are co-locating at the NEC Birmingham from 10-11 September, as part of i2i’s environment portfolio of events. They include The Energy Event, The Renewables Event, The Water Event and RWM in partnership with CIWM.
