Technology-based teambuilding and event management agency, Wildgoose Treasure Hunts, has appointed entrepreneur Andy Yates as its Chairman.
Yates is a former journalist with the Financial Times Group and The Independent, and has also worked for Deloitte and BBC News Online. He co-founded and built Digital Look into a financial technology businesses before working for global derivatives group CMC Markets.
Wildgoose runs 350 of its GPS treasure hunts a year in the UK and globally for corporate clients and agencies. It currently has nine licensees around the world, including in New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and Belgium.
“Wildgoose has enjoyed a fantastic period of really successfully growth with an increase of 68 per cent in bookings since 2012,” says MD of Wildgoose Events, Jonny Edser.
“Appointing an experienced Chairman was the next phase in that continued development. We have ambitious plans and Andy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table that really complements our Senior Management Team’s current skill set and will inevitably help to drive the business to the next level.”
