Touch Associates, an event communications agency formed in January 2012, is forecasting major growth in 2013 on the back of 2012 accounts that show a turnover of £1.16m in its first year of trading.
Touch is forecasting a quadrupling of its growth for 2013 and a turnover of £5m in its second full year.
Despite a small operating loss of £17k, Touch Director Patrick Collins described the first full-year results as “bang on plan”.
“During 2012 we established the agency and spent a lot of time building the business adding eight new clients,” said Colette Murphy, Director.
“This announcement comes as we are half way through our 2013 fiscal with forecasts for this year showing a very healthy increase to circa £5m turnover and a healthy profit. We are pleased with our progress and are enjoying building a growing client portfolio,” said Nick Bender, Director.
Touch Associates recently merged with Octopus Communications and Paul Smith joined the Board in December 2012.
Touch opened its first overseas office in New Jersey in April 2013, overseen by Mike Ford and Colette Murphy, who both have extensive experience of US start-ups.
Bender added that the past year had seen eight new clients added and the team increase to 15 people.
The latest addition to the team will be Roger Parker who joins in August, following 10 years in senior operations roles at Blueprint and AddingValue and, recently, managing automotive logistics on a contract basis at Imagination.
