Somerset House introduces corporate hospitality at new West Wing

London’s Somerset House is introducing a corporate hospitality offer for its newly-refurbished West Wing in conjunction with its open-air cinema ’Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House with American Express’.

Throughout August 2013, event organisers will have the opportunity to treat guests to a corporate hospitality experience during Film4 Summer Screen, which returns this summer with an extended programme of over 14 nights, taking place in the Edmond J, Safra Fountain Court.

With direct access to the courtyard, the West Wing consists of 15 newly-renovated spaces, some of which will be available for corporate entertaining throughout Film4 Summer Screen. The hospitality experience will be tailored exclusively for a small number of guests, who will have the opportunity to enjoy food and drinks overlooking the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court before watching a film.

Between 1 and 21 August, corporate guests will also have access to Somerset House’s Screen Prints Exhibition, in collaboration with Print Club London, presenting 17 new and original screen prints, inspired by each of the films screened this year.

“The new Film4 Summer Screen corporate hospitality experience will allow us to combine our arts and culture programme with our corporate events offering, and showcase the newly refurbished West Wing in the best possible way,” says Head of Events at Somerset House, Emma Barrow. “Since its renovation, the West Wing has provided the backdrop for several popular events, such as a pop-up Christmas Shopping Arcade and London Fashion Week, and we hope that the corporate hospitality offering will prove equally successful.”
