Smyle appointed as lead agency for World Islamic Economic Forum

UK event solutions company Smyle has been selected as the lead agency for the 9th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF), which will be held in Europe for the first time on 29-31 October 2013 at Excel London.

Smyle has been appointed as the lead agency in the delivery of the technical production, exhibition, and event management for the event.

“This is an exciting time for Smyle as we see our client portfolio extend with this prestigious event,” says Creative Director at Smyle, Matt Margetson. “The event capitalises on all the in-house departments at Smyle ensuring continuity of the messaging, design and creative together with providing numerous efficiencies and adding value across the delegate experience.”

David Pegler, CEO at Excel London (pictured), adds: “We are delighted that WIEF has chosen London and Excel as host for its forum, the first time it has been held outside Asia and in a non-Muslim country. We have a strong track record in hosting high profile events where global decisions are discussed and London always attracts record numbers of delegates.”

An international delegation of 1,500 over the three days is expected.
