New client win and London office for The Fresh Group

Communications and creative agency, The Fresh Group, has been appointed by United Utilities to its marketing and design roster.

The Warrington-based North West water provider appointed Fresh after a competitive tender process and the first campaign will launch in the summer focusing on the value of the service delivered by United Utilities to its seven million customers.

“We are excited about working with Fresh on our customer campaigns going forward,” says Campaign Manager at United Utilities, Rose Francis. “Fresh’s creative output is strong and well thought through, and they’ve taken the time to understand our customers and the way we want to take United Utilities forward as the North West’s water provider. It’s great working with an agency who offer all disciplines under one roof as their resulting creative is always considered across all communication channels.”

Fresh says United Utilities is one of several new business wins and claims it is on track to deliver a £14m turnover and £1m net profit, with less than half the year to go.

“The creative and delivery teams at Fresh have joined together to produce compelling client proposals,” says The Fresh Group MD, Patrick Howells (pictured). “I’m proud of everyone involved in this success – from the sales team, to the studio, the account teams, video, digital and exhibitions – everybody has gone above and beyond to help deliver our goals for 2013.”

Hot on the heals of the new client win, Fresh will open a new satellite office on Tottenham Court Road in central London on 1 June 2013. FIN House in Cheadle will remain the primary business base, but Fresh say the additional London office will mean offering the most flexible, cost effective solution for clients and provide a London base as the business continues to grow.

The continued growth at Fresh has resulted in the recruitment of eight new members to the team. The new recruits include Jasmine Rutter as Account Director, Carole Keating and Rebecca Creamer as Senior Account Executives and Rebecca Stopford as Business Development Executive.
