Manchester Live! 2013 confirmed for The Meetings Show UK

The fourth outing of Manchester’s annual destination showcase, Manchester Live! will take place 10 July, during The Meetings Show UK (9-11 July in London).

The event will take place 6:30pm at BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly.

Those invited to attend Manchester Live! will have the opportunity to meet and network with representatives from 30 venues from across the Greater Manchester region.

Guests are promised another intimate live celebrity performance (to be announced soon), following in the Manchester Live! tradition of Russell Watson, Alison Moyet and Mica Paris, all past performers at the event.

MD of Visit Manchester, Paul Simpson (pictured), said: “Manchester Live! is our flagship business tourism event and an excellent platform for us to reinforce the city’s position as the home of great conferences and meetings.

“It brings some of our best venues together under one roof to promote and strengthen Manchester’s thriving business tourism offer, which is currently worth over £822m to the local economy.

“We’re thrilled to be attaching Manchester Live! 2013 to The Meetings Show UK and look forward to working together to ensure that the event is attended by top-quality buyers.”

Steve Knight, Event Director for The Meetings Show UK, said: “Manchester Live! offers our visitors a brilliant platform to be engaged and entertained and we are delighted to be working in partnership with Visit Manchester.

“The relocation of this event not only further strengthens our relationship but proves that The Meeting Show UK has the right kind of buyers that top destinations such as Visit Manchester want to meet.”
