The Football Hospitality Awards 2013 will be held at the home of Reading Football Club, Madejski Stadium on 23 May.
The Windsor Lounge is the venue for the welcome drinks to be followed by dinner and live entertainment from Sonica Music and special effects by Le Maitre and ITM Ltd.
The after show party will be in the exclusive Jazz Café from 1am – 4am.
The Awards are organised by Stadium Experience, a not-for-profit marketing collaboration of 40 UK and football stadia.
Stadium Experience Chairperson Lisette Maas of Notts County Football Club said: “The Awards give recognition to those nominated and those who win. This is vital not only to raising standards within the industry but to the morale and continued motivation of the catering and events departments at our football clubs. They work tirelessly behind the scenes on matchdays and non-matchdays, to ensure that in some instances up to 90,000 visitors are catered for to an exceptional standard.”
All football clubs across the UK and Ireland from League 2 to Premier and National Stadia are eligible to enter and there are nominations for individuals working at the stadia, as well as the clubs themselves.
There are 18 awards up for grabs and categories include; Chef Team of the Year, Matchday Hospitality, Directors’ Choice, Media Choice, Conference & Event Sales Award, Special Achievement Award, Star For The Future Award, The Green Hospitality Award and Fans Choice – H&C News Football Pie League.
Over 300 guests are expected to attend this year and Twitter followers can keep up with the action at #FHA2013. This will be run by @stadiumexp.
Former professional footballers Michael Johnson and Ian Taylor will also be in attendance at the awards this year.
