DoubleTree by Hilton, one of 10 brands within Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio, will open two new hotels in London this summer. The latest additions are DoubleTree by Hilton London – Hyde Park and DoubleTree by Hilton London – Ealing, both of which are in the final stages of extensive refurbishments totalling £20m.
“London is a world class destination and DoubleTree by Hilton is a major part of its tourism offering,” said Senior VP of Development for Europe and Africa at Hilton Worldwide, Patrick Fitzgibbon.
“These two new properties complement our company’s long established presence in the city, which began 50 years ago when the London Hilton on Park Lane first opened.
“Building on the international exposure of 2012, we are thrilled to be enhancing our presence in London with these two latest additions and now have 38 hotels open and under development right across the city and its airports,” he added.
The 189-room DoubleTree by Hilton – Ealing is located a few minutes walk from London Ealing underground and offers in-room work areas as well as tech-friendly spaces in the hotel’s public spaces, which can also be used for informal meetings. The hotel has six meeting spaces for up to 240 guests banquet-style.
DoubleTree by Hilton – Hyde Park is situated opposite Kensington Gardens. The hotel’s refurbishment has created a 24-hour fitness centre, as well as 12 new guest rooms on the first floor, taking the total number of rooms to 228.
