Customers and staff raise a glass to GL events Owen Brown’s 100 years

Customers, suppliers and staff from temporary structure suppliers GL events Owen Brown enjoyed panoramic views across the whole of London when the company held a party to celebrate its centenary.

Fittingly, around 100 people attended the celebration event, which was held at the Skyloft at Altitude 360 on Millbank, on 2 May to mark 100 years since Owen Brown set up in business in the Midlands.

What first started out as a company selling rope and tarpaulins is now a multi-million pound concern supplying temporary structures.

Scott Hayward, Managing Director of Owen Brown, said that the event, which also included entertainment from David Brent impersonator, Tim Oliver, and music from acoustic duo the Cash Cows, was a fitting way to celebrate how far the company has come since its early days.
