Venue marketing consortium Conference Centres of Excellence (CCE) has launched its new website designed to improve organisers’ venue searches.
“We understand that our customer’s time is precious and therefore our ultimate goal with the new site is to make their venue-finding experience seamless, informative and effective,” said Amanda Stacey, CCE Marketing Executive.

CCE has also announced a campaign to boost its membership, from the current 34 members countrywide.
“It would be easy to extend our coverage by making membership open to all venues offering differing sorts of facility and levels of quality, but that is not our way,” explained Anthony Lishman, Executive Director.
“Very few groups or schemes are discerning enough to turn away those venues which don’t meet a very high standard, or prevent venues from enlisting unless they meet and exceed a level of service excellence. The only way into membership is through specialist venues offering outstanding levels of quality and service.”
CCE says it is particularly keen to find new members in city centres, and in the North of England, Wales, the West Country and Northern Ireland. Also required to complement the current offering within the group are larger conference and exhibition spaces catering for in excess of 400 delegates.
“We want to establish a broader footprint which will enable us to provide even more options for our customers,” said Lishman: “We also recognise that, especially in these challenging times, many venues can derive a range of benefits from being part of a pro-active membership association, including extended marketing activities, brand awareness, the pooling of resources and networking with like-minded venues.”
CCE represents specialist venues at the top end of the meetings sector, providing a dedicated environment at all inclusive rates.
