Egencia, the business travel division of the Expedia group, and Concur, an integrated travel and expense management company, have joined forces to make the process of expensing business travel faster and more accurate for mutual customers.
Through this strategic partnership, Egencia and Concur are connecting the corporate travel booking and expense management processes into one solution for mutual clients. Leveraging the Concur platform and its Open Booking APIs, the combined solution aims to make the process of expensing business travel easier and faster for companies whose business travellers plan, book and manage trips through Egencia and manage expenses with Concur.
Through Concur Open Booking, trips booked and managed by Egencia are automatically added to Concur Expense where the details pre-populate the expense report. Itinerary details, e-receipts and credit card charges are all matched to deliver increased insight and control their organisations, while making expense reports easier and more efficient for employees.

The Egencia and Concur Expense offering is available in the US and Canada as a certified application and will be made available to customers in the rest of the world later this year.
