Central Hall Westminster recognised for going the extra mile

London-based conference and events centre, Central Hall Westminster,
has been awarded the Chinese Tourists Welcoming Award 2013 while
exhibiting at China’s largest outbound travel and tourism exhibition,
COTTM 2013.

The award recognises companies and organisations
that have ‘gone the extra mile’ to welcome Chinese travellers while also
dealing with their needs in an efficient and welcoming manner.

Senior
Sales Manager at Central Hall Westminster, Kevin Blackman (pictured,

new dedicated website for the Chinese market, c-h-w.com/cn.

“This
is an enlightening experience and I have made some excellent contacts,”
said Blackman. “Tomorrow, I have an interview with CCTV (English
Speaking TV Station) followed by a business lunch and more meetings in
the afternoon.

“Overall, it really is true that face-to-face relationships are key in this market.”

Central
Hall Westminster has been able to attract a steady flow of Chinese
business clients over the past 24 months. Embracing this opportunity,
Central Hall launched a two-year multi-faceted sales and marketing drive
to develop these relationships and grow the brand in the Chinese
market.
