Cactus Kitchens opens for corporate events with celebrity chefs

A cookery school from the team behind TV shows such as Saturday Kitchen, Hairy Bikers Food Tour of Britain and The Roux Legacy, has opened for corporate incentive and teambuilding sessions.
Cactus Kitchens launched earlier this year to the general public and hosts regular experiences with famous chefs including Michel Roux Jr, Monica Galetti, Ken Hom, Clare Smyth, Jose Pizarro and Vivek Singh.
Corporate bookings are taken on an exclusive basis, giving clients sole use of the cookery school. Specific chefs can be requested so that guests can spend quality time with their food heroes.
Based above the Saturday Kitchen studios in London’s Clapham, Cactus Kitchens offers a range of spaces, which can be used for events including a dining room and green room, as well as the TV studios.
Corporate events can be designed on a bespoke basis with additional experiences such as a wine tasting, drinks reception or studio tour and filming also incorporated.
For premium cooking experiences in the school, the optimum numbers are 12 to 18 people at a time to maintain the intimacy, allowing the participants to gain one on one coaching and tips from a well-known TV chef. The complex can accommodate larger groups for demonstrations, wine tastings and meetings.
The kitchens have been designed in partnership with two Michelin Star chef Michel Roux Jr, who has played an integral part in the creative process.
Cactus Kitchens also holds ‘The Saturday Kitchen Cooking Experience’ every Saturday under license from the BBC.
Attendees tour the studios before taking part in a hands-on cooking session with one of the programme’s celebrity chefs. The gastronomic day continues when participants sit down to taste their creations alongside the TV chef with wine specifically matched to the dish. To top off the experience, guests are invited to take on the infamous ‘Omelette Challenge’ in the Saturday Kitchen studio to see how they fair against their fellow attendees and the famous chefs who tackle it on the weekly live show.
‘The Saturday Kitchen Cooking Experience’ can be booked exclusively for up to 18 delegates on any day of the week.
