Allianz Park unveils its new 10,000-seater arena in North London

Allianz Park, the home of the premiership rugby team Saracens, has officially unveiled its new 10,000-seater arena.
The North London venue, previously named the Copthall Stadium, has undergone a £24m rejuvenation, which includes new conference and banqueting facilities.
The indoor arena has a capacity for up to 1,200 people, there are three banquet rooms for 650 people and 14 breakout rooms for groups of between two and 60 people.
The venue is the first stadium in the UK to have an artificial 4g pitch, has a 60-metre warm up track, which it purchased from the Olympic park in London and has the longest rugby bar in the UK.
It also offers use of the pitch for events and teambuilding.
Tara Brady, Events Sales Manager at the venue, says: “As well as providing a home for Saracens who will play 16 match days a year, Allianz Park provides function rooms with views over the pitch and the surrounding fields and trees.
“The venue lends itself to product launches, conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, weddings and family parties,” she adds.
Allianz Park says it already has 40 confirmed events for 2013.
