700 registered for Academic Venue Show 2013 at ILEC Earls Court

Academic venue marketing umbrella association, Venuemasters, brings its annual Academic Venue Show to the ILEC Conference Centre in London, 22 May, with former Olympic gold medallist Sally Gunnell, OBE, in the starting line up and 700 visitors registered, the show organisers tell CN.
“From learning opportunities to world class meeting venues and group accommodation, this year’s Academic Venue Show has something for everyone,” said Jo Mitchell, Marketing Manager for Venuemasters, who reported 50 academic venues from 30 different UK locations are set to exhibit, including 10 new to the show.
Gunnell will deliver a presentation on ‘Sustaining Excellence’.
Organisers claim attendees will find the Academic Venue Show 2013 easier to travel to thanks to the new Earls Court location.
New venues exhibiting for the first time include: Queen Mary University of London; Senate House Institute of Education, University of London; King’s College London; Lancaster University; Homerton Conference Centre, Cambridge; Said Business School, Oxford; Bucks New University, High Wycombe; University of Wolverhampton; University of Wales, Trinity St David; and Wales University of South Wales.

The Academic Venue Show 2013 is free to attend and registrations can be made online at: academicvenueshow.co.uk.
