London’s Congress Centre will host football’s equality and inclusion campaign, Kick It Out’s, Raise Your Game conference, for the third consecutive year on 10 April 2013. The conference is designed to encourage promising young hopefuls eager to fast track their way into the football industry.
Football stars including Fabrice Muamba and Carlton Cole will be attending the event, which is part of the organisation’s new era Mentoring and Leadership Project designed to bring people together from across the country who are looking to find work in all areas of the football industry.
The event, which is sold out, will see 100 delegates attend a morning event and a further 100 attend a similar session in the afternoon in the Council Chamber at Congress Centre.
Alongside Muamba and Cole, football players including Marvin Sordell, Bradley Johnson, Yannick Bolaise and Clarke Carlisle will be joining industry professionals working in management, administration and the media.
“We’re returning to Congress Centre for the third year running in April as the location is extremely convenient, just around the corner from Tottenham Court Road Underground. The standard of facilities and service at the venue are also first class,” says Kick It Out’s Mentoring and Leadership Project Manager, Troy Townsend.
