The Conference and Hospitality Show, which takes place 30 April at Leeds United Football Club, has secured personal branding expert Lesley Everett as its keynote speaker.
Emma Cartmell of CHS Group says: “We’ve worked hard to make this a key event in the calendar for the hospitality industry and we recognise that such an event demands a major keynote speaker with a national, if not international, profile.
“Lesley has worked with FTSE 100 companies as well as The United Nations, Bank of America and CE Capital as well as entrepreneurs and politicians. She will present her ‘Walking TALL, 7 Big Strides to Personal Branding’.
“Many companies spend thousands on company branding yet we often overlook the obvious – people buy from people and therefore personal brand is key for everyone. Lesley’s presentation promises to be an eye opener for anyone who has ever wondered what impression they personally make on others.”
Everett adds: “I hope to open doors to a different way of thinking, it’s informal and fun, and it’s all about being the best you can be.”
Everett heads a line-up of speakers for the show’s seminar programme, run in association with MPI and PA Hub. Helena Bonham Carter’s PA will also deliver a presentation.
This year’s show also has a demo zone incorporating a sushi bar and geisha girls and an extensive hosted buyer programme. Organisers say 300 VIP’s and pre-qualified buyers will attend the event.
The organisers have also introduced a tailored Concierge service to improve the visitor experience.
The only meetings industry exhibition outside of London, the Conference and Hospitality Show has expanded 50 per cent year on year since its inception in 2010.
Cartmell says: “We are already ahead of on pre-registrations from 2012 and are confident that this show will be our best one yet.”
