Banks Sadler reports increase in operating profits

Global event management agency Banks Sadler has reported an increase in operating profits, for 2012, of 30 per cent on the previous year from £813K to £1,056K.
Group turnover at the company rose by four per cent and the overall gross profits increased 14 per cent.
Leigh Jagger (pictured), CEO of Banks Sadler, says: “To have both kicked off and concluded our 30th year celebrations with the two best years in our history is fantastic. The teams across our five offices have worked incredibly hard to achieve these positive results, as it’s still a very tough market out there.
“We continue to invest in order to maintain our position in the market and I’m delighted we have delivered these results while also making significant service upgrades in both our new technology offering (to be launched in May) and the opening of our New York office. Despite on-going expansion, the Group’s operating expenses only increased by 11 per cent which is testament to our focus on controlling base operating costs.”
