Event management agency Zibrant a new survey has found there could be an increase in bookings and spend in the meetings industry in 2013.
The Customer Insight Survey asked Zibrant venue and events clients to respond to a series of industry specific questions including the projected number, size and value of bookings for 2013. Other questions included what single thing would be most useful to them in doing their jobs and what they thought were the biggest challenges facing the industry.
Zibrant MD Sales and Marketing Fay Sharpe says: “Given the tough economic conditions the UK finds itself in, Zibrant is cautiously optimistic with these results which indicate that both venue find and events sectors will continue on par with 2012 levels, and in some cases see an increase both in bookings and spend.
“Within venue find 76 per cent of respondents said they were planning the same or more meetings in 2013.”
