The Meetings Show UK has opened applications for its Hosted Buyer programme.

Organised by Centaur Exhibitions, The Meetings Show UK recently announced its initial exhibitor line up which included major domestic and international destinations, hotel groups, DMCs, venues and meetings industry suppliers.
The inaugural event, which takes place 9-11 July at Olympia, includes a dedicated association conference and extensive education and networking opportunities.
Qualified Hosted Buyers will benefit from a personalised and funded travel experience; complimentary bed and breakfast at a 4/5*hotel; transportation to Olympia from host hotels and networking venues. The show will also provide Hosted Buyer lounges, business centre and Wi-Fi.
Buyers can apply individually or as part of a group brought together by the show’s partners and exhibitors.
“Flexibility is the key for us,” says Knight. “If buyers want to come down to the show from Scotland, elsewhere in the UK or mainland Europe, we provide flights or train travel and take care of the accommodation in London as well as transport from the host hotels to our venue.”
Buyers need to attend eight appointments with exhibitors of their choice for each day they are at the show.
The Hosted Buyer applications will be assessed on criteria including number and size of meetings organised, annual budgets, purchasing authority, seniority and future business opportunities. Centaur aims to deliver 1,500 Hosted Buyer to its show.
