Lord Coe awarded National Outdoor Event Association President’s Award

The National Outdoor Event Association (NOEA) is set to recognise Lord Sebastian Coe at its Industry Awards next week (7 March) when the association pays tribute and thanks to companies and individuals who have excelled in their contribution to the multi-billion pound outdoor events market.
Lord Sebastian Coe was presented with the NOEA President’s Award at a ceremony in London by NOEA President, Richard Limb, ahead of the official awards on 7 March.
The President’s Award, a lifetime achievement award recognising outstanding contribution to the industry, is given to an individual who has made a huge difference to the ‘events world’. Previous winners have included Melvin Benn, Michael Eavis and Harvey Goldsmith.
“I am pleased to accept the NOEA President’s Award and feel honoured to have been chosen,” said Coe. “This last year has shown that the UK has the talent, facilities, expertise and flair to host world class events and I hope that the London 2012 legacy will continue to inspire and motivate the next generation of events professionals as we enter what will be an extraordinary decade for sports events.”
Richard Limb also presented Lord Coe with a certificate for lifetime honorary membership of NOEA.
