Excel invests £750,000 in new conference centre facility

Excel London has invested a further £750,000 in its facilities and opened a new conference centre in the ICC London. The new conference centre was opened last week  to coincide with Excel’s busiest ever January and the week it was host to technology companies Cisco Live and BETT.

The London Suite provides an additional six meeting rooms with a total capacity of just under 400 delegates in a self contained area of the ICC.

The first event to benefit from this new space was Cisco Live, which opened on the 29 January, showcasing the technology multinational’s latest products to over 6,000 international delegates.

CEO of Excel London, David Pegler (pictured) says: “Since the last time Cisco hosted its event with us, we have invested a further £250,000 in the venue’s heating system to make the venue entrance and arrival experience warmer during the winter months. These investments are testament to our continued commitment and ambitions to remain a world class venue.”
