Top Banana creates internship for Danone Baby Nutrition client

Global leadership and event management agency Top Banana has created an internship for an employee at Danone Baby Nutrition.
In a move to support staff development in client organisations, Danone employee Joe Worthy will gain an insight into the agency side of live event and video production to expand his experience in this area. The programme involves supporting the in-house video team and working on client events including Danone’s Baby Talk Live this month.
Top Banana’s MD, Nick Terry, said of the initiative: “We’re always keen to look at new ways of supporting our clients. Joe worked on the 2012 Baby Talk Live event with us when he was with Danone so his knowledge of the organisation will help us as we move towards delivering the company’s next event in January.  It’s a win-win situation, all sides benefit.”
Worthy worked in both internal communication and CSR with Danone Baby Nutrition having previously graduated from Nottingham University with a BA in Management Studies before joining the marketing team at Akzo Nobel working on the Cuprinol and Hammerite brands.
He said: “I’m really grateful to Top Banana for giving me the chance to experience live events from the agency side. Having seen things from the client perspective at Danone, it will help me decide where I want to take my career in the future.”
