PR agency Wordville sets up corporate events division

London-based PR agency Wordville has launched an events division to be run by Gill Van Zwanenberg, previously an event manager at the Imagination Gallery in central London.

The new division will focus on corporate events, press conferences, and industry forums.
During her time at Imagination, Van Zwanenberg’s team delivered events for clients, including British Gas, Accenture, O2, Barclay Card, Nespresso, Skoda, BBC Worldwide and Maersk. 
Originally trained as a stage manager for theatre at RADA, Van Zwanenberg worked in the London’s West End for 15 years before moving into the corporate world.
“The best events seem effortless,” says Van Zwanenberg. “If it doesn’t look easy, the events company isn’t trying hard enough. Wordville is a one of a kind agency that packs a punch and I’m excited about what we can achieve together,” she adds.
“Our team has been delivering small scale events for our clients for a number of years and setting up a division of the business to handle demand seemed like the next natural step for us,” says Wordville’s Lucy George.

“We have always had a great working relationship with Gill and when this opportunity arose to work with her on a more permanent basis it was just too good to pass up. With Gill’s experience, contacts and know-how in the events industry, we’ve got the best in the business working with us,” she adds.
