MCC drafts three agents into hospitality squad for Ashes and beyond

Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) has appointed three hospitality agents at Lord’s Cricket Ground ahead of the 2013 Ashes this summer.

Keith Prowse
, National Sporting Club and Sports Hospitality Group, will handle all official hospitality sales agents at the Lord’s venue for 2013 and 2014.
It was announced earlier in the year that MCC had taken overall control of the hospitality offering at the cricket ground, due to the anticipated high demand for the forthcoming seasons and in recognition of the need for three official agents to support the onsite team in selling selected hospitality packages.
Jeff Banks, Strategic Sales Director at Keith Prowse, said: “We are delighted to continue our 30-year working relationship with MCC. We look forward to working with the club during an exciting time for English cricket, particularly with the Australian and Indian teams touring in the next two seasons.”
Lee Gregory, Proprietor of The National Sporting Club, said his company was honoured to be made an official hospitality partner of MCC, at Lord’s: “We look forward to working together for many years to come.”
Chris Dixon, Operations Director, Sports Hospitality Group, described the new agency partnership with MCC as “exciting”, adding: “We look forward to building momentum in the approach to the Ashes in July 2013.”
The agents will be selling the Nursery Pavilion and Danubius Hotel packages, while other packages such as the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite can only be purchased directly from the Hospitality team at Lord’s.
