EMAP is responsible for over 150 live events a year in construction and engineering, health, local government and retail, including the HSJ Summit and Retail Live. The HSJ Summit each year gathers professionals from across the private and public healthcare communities and provides a forum for open debate and discussion around key challenges faced by those leading, shaping or supplying the NHS and private healthcare. Retail Week Live, attracts over 800 CEOs and senior retail sector delegates.

Tracey Davies, MD Retail and Live Events at EMAP, says: “Fiona is joining at an exciting time for EMAP and our conferences division in particular.

“EMAP attracted additional subscribers to our products, increased sponsorship from partner companies and more delegates than ever to our events last year. Overall, the business turned around, delivering revenue growth over 2011, while still launching new products and investing significantly in the business. Fiona will also explore innovative ways to serve our customers and ensure our valuable content stays ahead of the market.”

Miller will join EMAP from LexisNexis where she was Head of Conferences and Training, delivering over 450 events a year.
