Air Partner has announced the completion of its aviation support contract for the global launch of Land Rover’s all-new Range Rover. The launch marketing was handled by P&MM agency, with whom Air Partner has been working for over 10 years.
Air Partner was contracted to fly 7,058 car dealers from 53 countries around the world to Marrakech in Morocco.
A joint team coordinated and created the ultimate Land Rover experience with Land Rover branded luggage and hotel tags, dedicated branded check-in services, private lounges and catering for all passengers. The Airbus A319 aircraft were liveried with the Range Rover logo.
The global event was kept under wraps for months ahead of the project being launched and running for over two months.
Paul Argyle, Head of Commercial Jets at Air Partner, said: “We’ve really enjoyed delivering this high profile, successful global product launch for Land Rover.”
Commenting on the project, Land Rover Global Events, Divisional Director at P&MM Elaine Pieris said: “Working in Marrakech on such a complex long-term project, it was important that we were working in partnership with a dedicated professional team and Air Partner delivered on all aspects. The launch was a huge success in spite of local challenges and sets yet another benchmark in over a decade of successfully partnered events.”
