UK hotel chain, Qhotels, has announced a £170,000 refurbishment of the spa at the Stratford Manor hotel, Statford-Upon-Avon, following an increase in demand for spa facilities for corporate guests.
In a bid for increased corporate bookings, the refurbishment of the spa, due to open on 6 August 2012, will include three new treatment rooms and has created six new jobs at the hotel.
“Demand for quality spa facilities for corporate bookings has increased over the past few years,” says GM at Stratford Manor, Keith Turnball. “We’ve responded to this by investing £170,000 into new spa treatment rooms and leisure facilities.
“Corporate bookers are telling us that these facilities are increasingly important to both business guests and residential conference delegates. It’s all about supporting a healthy approach to work and we think our new spa facilities help our guests to get the balance just right,” he adds.
MD of QHotels, Michael Purtill (pictured), says: “We are committed to investing in our hotels and responding to the needs of our guests, despite the current economic climate, to ensure that we continue to set ourselves apart from our competitors.”
Stratford Manor offers 13 conference, meeting and events rooms and can host 330 delegates.
